The date should be shown only for a second or two, and then be hidden, and the player has to calculate the day of the week anyway. This will test the player's ability to calculate the day of the week just like in conversations, where the date is not constantly "visible".

Of course, this functionality is optional and can be toggled in the settings. Once I've created settings, that is.
