Script blockers prevent JSONP requests from executing because it requires executing a script from the API's host. Newer versions of MW no longer require JSONP I think, but I will only consider dropping support for these versions once UCP has been deployed fully on Fandom.

Until then, the error message should suggest to the user that their script blocker may be the issue.
