As seen in #43, errors and warnings are invisible to the user and should be shown to the user directly so that they know why something goes wrong, and may be better able to diagnose the issue.

For example, display a warning "Failed to fetch from <url>; does this exist? Is it HTTP instead of HTTPS (or the other way around?)?" (and the latter part only if the current page is on HTTPS).
